I haven't found this forum to be very helpful though.Thunderbird to Outlook Transfer – User’s Manual If you have more questions, I would be more than happy to help you out. That will save you some time since you won't have to change the wiring harness. If you get the door from the wrecking yard ask them not to cut all the wires. Also, the door took a long time to change. To me, it is worth the money, but if I had had to take it to a body shop it would not have been worth spending $1500 - $2000 to get it fixed. I would say so far I have spent about $400 on fixing the damage caused by the wreck. Yeah, I realize this is rather "backyard mechanic-ish" but I just want the car usable so I can drive it to Mexico this summer. Then I have to decide whether or not I need to paint it. Its not perfect yet but we are working on it. The door frame by the hinge is bent but another friend of mine has a hydralic frame jack and we have been pushing it out from the inside. I changed it all out myself (with a little help from my ex boyfriend since the door is really heavy). I looked all over for a brown one, but ended up with black since it is the same year and the exact trim, etc. I went to a wrecking yard near Seattle and bought a door and fender for around $250. It was pulling really badly because the wheel was hit, but $85 later for an alignment and it goes straight again. It has almost 160K miles on it and really isn't worth anything (with the price of gas these days no one wants to buy a V8).Īnyway, I finally got around to taking it to the frame shop, and the frame itself isn't bent at all (only around the door). My tan 95 Lx got t-boned last fall and I have been trying to fix it up myself. Wow, your post sounds like something I would have written.
